Kerala Tourism has tied up with Radio Mirchi to promote its dream season campaign this summer. The campaign will be promoting Kerala vacations during summers among the northern as well as other domestic markets of India. Radio Mirchi stations of Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Bangalore will take part in this tie-up.
RJs from across Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Bangalore will make an expedition to the exotic locations of Kerala to provide Live reports from various locations in God’s Own Country for the listeners. Few lucky listeners could also win an all paid trip to Kerala by answering some simple questions posed by the RJs on-air. The RJ expedition began from the capital of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, on May 4 and ended on May 9 in Cochin.
Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Balyan, Cluster Head – Kerala & Karnataka, Radio Mirchi, said, “Kerala has enchanted travelers for long, and now we hope to enchant Mirchi listeners with the beauty of Kerala through this association. With summer being at its peak, this would surely provide a refreshing respite. We would like to thank Kerala Tourism for this opportunity.”
Also speaking on the occasion, M Sivasankar, Director, Kerala Tourism, said, “It is going to be a tough year ahead for tourism. However, we are happy that we are braced to meet the challenges, not just by enhancing our relationships with customers and developing new ones, but also by exploring new growth grounds. As part of the new marketing initiatives, we are happy to associate with Radio Mirchi in key originating markets to showcase Kerala and to attract tourists to the state. This marketing innovation is designed to capitalise on the attractive ‘Dream Season’ tour packages launched by Kerala Tourism to cater to the holiday season of domestic travelers.”
